in this series of blogs, we are discussing about some delicious, yummy and eye

Granola with
Cherries and Almonds
Ingredients (For
20 People):
Oats (2 cups for every guest)
Wheat germ (1/4 quantity of oats)
Brown sugar (200 gm)
Salt (3 tea spoon)
Maple syrup (2 cup)
Vegetable oil (100 gm.)
Sliced almonds (2 ½ cups)
Sweetened flake coconut (2 cups)
Dried cherries (2cups)
Almond extract (for flavoring)
Water (as per needed).
Wheat germ (1/4 quantity of oats)
Brown sugar (200 gm)
Salt (3 tea spoon)
Maple syrup (2 cup)
Vegetable oil (100 gm.)
Sliced almonds (2 ½ cups)
Sweetened flake coconut (2 cups)
Dried cherries (2cups)
Almond extract (for flavoring)
Water (as per needed).
Preparation:
At first, preheat the oven to
275*F. Take a big bowl or anything much bigger where you can mix oats, wheat
germ, brown sugar, salt and all the extra ingredients except dried fruit. Mix
well and put it aside. Bring a saucepan, put almonds, cherries, coconut flake,
oil and some water in it. Cook in a simmer heat until almonds and coconut
flakes get little bit brown in color.
Sprinkle the dry fruits above
oat mixture and stir well. Take a metal pan and give it a coat of cooking
spray. Squeeze the cereal in to small clumps by using your hand. Put it in
preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then bring it back to your cooking table and
stir upside down well. Once more bake in oven, until it gets the color of
golden brown. Leave it to cool and its ready, tasty and toothsome “Granola with
Cherries and Almonds”.
This one is very easy and quick on time also. Pack the granola in small and designed bottles.
