Delicious Wedding Favor Recipes-1

Apple Pie Pop Wedding Favor

Ingredients (For 25 Pops):

3 Golden Delicious or Granny Smith apples (finely diced), 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, ½ teaspoon salt, 4 tablespoon cold butter (chopped in pieces), ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg, 2 tablespoon white sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 large egg beaten (only white part), Turbindo sugar (for sprinkling), butter (melted), lollipop sticks and 1 ¼ cup all purpose flour.

Direction:

Preheat your oven to 375*F. Put all purpose flour, white sugar, salt and lemon juice inside a large bowl. Add cold water and make a dough ball. Wrap the dough and refrigerate it for 30-45 minutes. Add diced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, grated nutmeg, cold butter, flour and cinnamon in another bowl. Stir it well and set aside. Sprinkle some flour in surface. Spread and press the cold dough above it to 1/8 inch thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut 2 ½ inch rounds. Place half of the rounds in a baking sheet. Put a spoon of apple mix filling above a round piece of dough and cover it with another one. 

Place a lollipop stick on every pie. Seal the edge of dough using your soft hands. Brush the pies with egg white and sprinkle Turbindo sugar above it. Place the sheet inside the preheat oven for 15-20 minutes until it baked to golden brown. Brush the pies with melted butter after you remove it from oven. Leave it for cool and pack it. Its ready, handmade, juicy, tasty apple pie pop for your favor gift. Pack 4-5 pops in a plastic cover and gift to your guest. From young to old, all are going to love it for sure.
